Meredith Ellmore, RN, MSN, CPNP
Meredith Ellmore earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minor in Biology from Lycoming College, then immediately started work at Johns Hopkins Children's Center on the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry unit as a Psychiatric Assistant for four years. She obtained her Associate of Nursing from Community College of Baltimore County and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Notre Dame of Maryland University in their dual enrollment program.
Upon graduation, Meredith continued her nursing career at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center and worked in their Pediatric Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse for six years. During that time, she was the Lead Chair of the unit's Psychiatric Committee where she worked to improve quality, safety, education and care for patients and families affected by mental illness. She completed a Master of Science in Nursing at Drexel University and was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Today, Meredith is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in Primary Care. Her unique background offers a holistic approach and understanding to pediatric health and well-being with a special interest in mental and behavioral health. She is looking forward to building relationships and caring for patients and families at Arundel Pediatrics from infancy to young adulthood.
Meredith resides in the Annapolis area with her two kitties. She enjoys spending quality time with friends and families, traveling, attending art classes, and enjoying the great outdoors through various activities like gardening, hiking, running, swimming, cycling and sailing.
