Important Update: Same-Day Sick Visits Now Require an Appointment

Effective immediately, Arundel Pediatrics will no longer offer walk-in sick visits.

We know children don’t always get sick according to schedule, and we remain committed to providing same-day sick appointments whenever possible.

To help us provide safe, timely, and high-quality care for every patient, all sick visits must now be scheduled in advance. Patients may no longer walk in to the office for a sick visit without an appointment.

What This Means for Families

If your child is sick and needs to be seen:

🩺 Our team will help determine the most appropriate appointment time and provider based on your child's symptoms and availability.

Our providers and clinical staff carefully plan each day's schedule to allow enough time for every patient. Scheduled appointments help us:

• Reduce waiting room congestion

• Minimize unnecessary exposure to illness

• Keep patient visits running on time

• Allow our providers to prepare appropriately for each patient's needs

• Provide a better experience for children and families

Same-day sick appointments will continue to be offered based on availability. We encourage families to contact us as early as possible when their child becomes ill.
